Guy started his company, Barretta Consulting, in June 2023, after serving as COO for a large residential real estate brokerage, where he expanded the company significantly.

Guy expresses concern that small business owners often focus on immediate issues rather than long-term growth projects, which is where he aims to provide assistance. Many struggle with operational inefficiencies, which can hinder their growth and day-to-day operations.

Guy’s sweet spot in working with businesses is to help them grow from a revenue of five million to ten million dollars, indicating a specific financial target for growth.  Often businesses need a succession plan and he can help them build a marketable asset over two to three years, preparing them for a potential sale, for example.

We discuss the changes that business in general is going through now and Guy reflects on the evolution of websites from static pages he sold back in 1998, to the dynamic content today, drawing a parallel to the expected growth of AI technology. It was a very interesting conversation.
